@kaljavaara Yes,mostly educated people knew how to speak English but China got attacked by lots of enemies from the past and really make them feel angry and tired.I am actually very glad that britain had took this amazing place for colony because if Hong Kong continue to be controled by China…Hong Kong won’t be many amazing places…..You can eat all kinds of food you want to eat here..I enjoy living in Hong Kong
@mskaren987 Really,that’s a great girl’s school but I study in a boy’s college in tai kok tsui…
Hey!!! Nice to see you enjoy Hong Kong,if Hong Kong is a seperate country not from China,that will be great,the chinese is horrible except the Hong Kong people because I am one of them and I am just …..a kid…
This is probably a really stupid question, but when you went to HK, did you say to yourself “Hey! We used to own this place!”?
nice video, loved it…and i love Hong Kong, we visit every year and I have family there. It’s rly a complete different experience than the west…
Hong Kong is beautiful. Went there for two week working holiday from New Zealand. Freakin fabulous place. Cops were more personable than in Western countries and definitely more helpful. Locals were beyond helpful – they freakin rocked. The people are so slender yet they dont have the same hangups about food and weight that we as westerners do – they eat when theyre hungry and lots of food too. Freakin fabulous – cant wait to go back. Damned fine looking people as well.
Ahh i cant wait to go! Going for a month to stay with a friend! I think i might make a blog to!
English is one of the official languages used in HK, most ppl if not everyone can speak it or understand some of it (elderly) becos it’s taught in all schools…HK was a UK colony before 1997.
Hong Kong was, until 1997, officially a British colony, so most people there speak English.
did people there understand english?
i really like that video!
I loved Hong Kong, even though we were there for just 4 days! Victoria Peak was spectacular, although it looks as though you didn’t see it on the sunniest of days. It was 30 degrees when I went!
Cool video. Just what I was looking for. Easy and good info.
I will now watch your other videos … gives good ideas for my own journey. Thanks.
Very cool!
Looked like a fine college to me! You live in an awesome place, I loved Hong Kong…
